ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • • Using our proprietary booking software (Gantt) – schedule tours, and coordinate customer requirements with the Guides.
    • Assign tours to Guides based on tour priority guidelines, number of passengers and customer pick-up locations, rotate tours and add Guide breaks as appropriate.
    • Coordinate tour departures by distributing passenger lists (manifests) to Guides and addressing last-minute issues. Ensure that special requirements are noted in reservations (front seat req., step stool, car seats, seatbelt extension).
    • Coordinate and assist with the dispatching of our tour pick-ups, acting as a communication hub between guides, customers, Sedona Contact Center, and hotel staff as needed.
    • Monitor and maintain communication with vehicles.
    • May serve as an escalation point for customer issues.
    • Performs opening and closing procedures accurately and thoroughly.
    • Demonstrates a high degree of initiative, resourcefulness, and job knowledge ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • • Other duties as assigned.

Full-Time schedule with great benefits! Schedule is 5 days a week as the 5:00am opener and schedule includes both weekend days.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• At least one (1) year of dispatch experience required.
• Two (2) or more years of customer service and administrative experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Effective time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Attention to detail, self-motivation, and demonstrates initiative.
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Must be able to maintain sensitive information in a confidential manner.
• Computer experience required (MS Windows, Outlook, Word & Excel).
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree (A.A) preferred

• Primarily sitting up to 8 hours a day.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Primarily an inside office job with little exposure to weather conditions
• This position is based in a shared office area involving working alone on the computer, collaborating as part of a team, or working closely with others by computer or over the phone.
• Daily exposure to PC
• May require long hours and weekends.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

This is considered a non-safety critical position for purposes of the Pink Jeep Tours drug testing policy which is subject to  pre-employment and random drug testing.
