***The schedule will be part-time evenings (3 days/week from 4P to 9P) and alternating weekends (8-hour shift).***
Our Housekeeping/Laundry (Neighborhood Specialist) position ensures resident rooms and common areas are clean, sanitary, and inviting. We are currently seeking a dedicated, service-minded and detail-oriented individual to join our team. This position has a significant and meaningful impact on the lives of our residents, staff and visitors by creating a safe, warm and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, and mopping in resident rooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Change and launder bed linens and towels as required.
- Assist with meal prep and clean up as needed.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident and staff requests promptly.

Requirements
- Previous housekeeping, laundry and cleaning experience preferred
- Previous experience working in a retirement community preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy items.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
