Compliance Assistant at Crete Carrier Corporation

Performs supportive duties for the Risk Management Compliance department, including taking calls from drivers and monitoring hours of service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.• Serves as point of contact for individuals with questions regarding hours of service or e-logs. • Verifies hours of service records in accordance with DOT regulations and Company policies. • Provides coaching to drivers based on critical events and reports any patterns to appropriate management.• Tracks drivers on required apnea therapy to ensure compliance and to troubleshoot equipment issues if necessary.• Monitors DOT inspection reports, verifies equipment repairs are complete, and processes tickets for payment. • Researches, compiles, and tracks reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence. • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships. • Receives and carries out instructions.• Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
