Job Overview:
A residential apartment cleaner is a professional responsible for cleaning and maintaining cleanliness in apartment units. Their tasks typically include:
- Dusting and Sweeping: Dusting surfaces such as shelves, countertops, ceiling fans and kitchen cabinets. Sweeping floors to remove dirt and debris.
- Vacuuming: Vacuuming carpets, rugs, and other fabric surfaces to remove dust, dirt, and pet hair.
- Mopping: Cleaning hard floors (tile, wood, laminate) with appropriate cleaning solutions.
- Cleaning Windows and Mirrors: Washing windows and mirrors to remove smudges, dirt, and fingerprints.
- Kitchen Cleaning: Wiping down counters, cleaning appliances (oven, microwave, refrigerator), and sanitizing sinks.
- Bathroom Cleaning: Scrubbing toilets, sinks, tubs, and showers, wiping down counters, and cleaning mirrors.
- Trash Removal: Emptying trash bins and replacing liners.
- Organizing: Tidying up and decluttering spaces if needed.
