Position Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Support Specialist (SSS) with a desire for success as part of our digital transformation and enterprise managed services sales strategy. This position is based in our Naperville, IL Location. The SSS will be responsible for supporting the sales team and customers to help achieve individual IT sales goals. The successful candidate will have experience and a proven history supporting IT sales. She/he will be responsible for meeting and/or exceeding individual performance objectives as established by your manager. This job description is not all-inclusive.
Responsibilities
-Provide excellent customer service to our clients
-Research software/hardware options in accordance with customer requirements
-Create detailed and accurate price quotations to assist customers and account executives with creating requisitions and processing purchase orders
-Resolve issues regarding returns, customer dissatisfaction, download issues, shipping discrepancies, order, and invoicing discrepancies
-Support and back-up other sales support specialists in their absence and/or work volume
-Provide accurate order entry, paying close diligence in emails, orders, and vendor quotes
-Respond to customers/vendors/account executives in timely fashion with a sense of urgency
-Ensure that the CRM is accurate and up to date
-Demonstrate strong people and business leadership skills
Minimum Qualifications
-College Degree preferred or equivalent in related field is preferred
-Must have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of IT business experience
-Detail oriented, with strong data entry, account, and time management skills
-Experience with procurement processes
-Learn and understand company's sales tools and processes
-Initiative-taking with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
-Prior experience with CRM systems such as NetSuite or Salesforce a plus
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong customer presentation skills
-Team player
