Strata-G Solutions, LLC is seeking a Proposal Manager to join our growing team in Huntsville, AL. The candidate will be responsible for leading and providing all aspects of proposal expertise to all Lines of Business to include Defense, Other Government Agencies, and Commercial activities.
We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Proposal Manager to join our Growth team. In this role, you'll lead proposal development efforts for U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), federal government, and commercial opportunities. If you thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and have a strong understanding of federal contracting (FAR/DFARS), this is your chance to make an immediate impact.
What You'll Do
Lead the full proposal lifecycle-from RFI release to final submission-ensuring compliance with all requirements.
Drive collaboration across capture managers, technical SMEs, pricing teams, and subcontractors to create compelling, compliant proposals.
Develop and manage proposal schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and review cycles.
Facilitate kickoff meetings, daily stand-ups, and color team reviews.
Interpret federal solicitations (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, ROMs) and translate requirements into winning strategies.
Write, edit, and format proposal content, including executive summaries, management plans, and past performance.
Maintain proposal artifacts, past performance data, and support post-submission activities (clarifications, BAFOs, debriefs).
Continuously improve proposal processes, templates, and tools to maximize efficiency and quality.

What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, English, or related field.
4-7 years of federal proposal management experience, ideally in the defense or aerospace sector.
Deep knowledge of government procurement processes and the proposal lifecycle.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and proposal automation tools.
Exceptional communication, writing, and editing skills.
Ability to juggle multiple deadlines with precision.
U.S. citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
APMP certification (Foundation or Practitioner).
Familiarity with Shipley or similar methodologies.
Experience working on classified proposals or in secure environments.
Background in small business contracting with large primes or subcontractor teams.
5+ years of experience integrating winning proposal content.
