Dauphin Consumers Co-operative Ltd. is inviting applications for a

Yard Clerk, (Seasonal)

At our Anhydrous Ammonia Site 

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Provide excellent customer service to and sales assistance
• Loading and delivering product in a safe and orderly manner
• Maintaining the yard in an orderly and organized manner, in compliance with yard plan
• Operating and maintaining all equipment and tools in a safe manner
• Administration duties, including creating and maintaining spreadsheets, filing, answering phones, front-end service and other duties assigned
• Assisting in all other retail operations as assigned

Qualifications:

• Provide excellent customer service skills and project a positive image
• Mature, reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Posses a Class 5 Driver’s Licence
• Ammonia handling experience an asset
• Knowledge in using computers, including MS-DOS, Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Must be able to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and ability to work extended hours during peak season as required
• Ability to understand and comply with safety codes and protocols
• Can fulfill physical job requirements including extended time on one’s feet and manual labour
