JOB SUMMARY
The position for a Trace Gains Analyst comprises of managing supplier documentation, ensuring data accuracy and compliance, and monitoring quality performance using the Trace Gains platform. Daily activities involve coordinating with suppliers to collect necessary certifications, uploading and verifying important food safety or quality documents, and generating compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Administer and maintain Trace Gains platform modules, including Supplier Management, Compliance, Specifications, and Formulation.
- Upload, track, and review supplier documentation such as certificates of analysis, specifications, GFSI certifications, allergen statements, and regulatory documents.
- Monitor system workflows to ensure timely supplier responses, document approvals, and compliance updates.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate and complete supplier and product records.
- Generate compliance reports and dashboards to support audits, customer requirements, and internal reviews.
- Train internal users and suppliers on Trace Gains functionality, best practices, and updates.
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and coordinate with IT or Trace Gains support for system issues.
- Ensure company compliance with FDA, USDA, GFSI, FSMA, and customer requirements through accurate documentation control.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in quality assurance, supplier compliance, regulatory affairs, or supply chain, preferably in food, beverage, or consumer goods.
- Hands-on experience with Trace Gains platform required.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (FDA, USDA, FSMA, GFSI) and supplier compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and data management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and external suppliers.
