About the role:

The Material Handler Lead role is responsible for overseeing warehouse material handling operations, assisting and directing material handlers, and ensuring production run rates are met. They perform technical troubleshooting, maintain equipment, ensure quality standards, and adhere to safety protocols. Additionally, they manage the accuracy of material movement and availability for work centers.

 

Educational Background and Experience:

  • 2+ years of warehouse and forklift experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • 1+ years of leading people is preferred.
  • Preferably this candidate will also be familiar with using automated shipping routines, ERP software systems, and operating a forklift.
  • Understands different problem-solving techniques and can apply this methodology to resolve issues.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office software is a must.
