As part of our Commercial Management Centre of Excellence, you’ll:

Main Duties
  • Deliver on the objectives of the commercial management strategy.
  • Administer and optimise NEC4 contracts, from high-volume activities to one-off, high-value projects.
  • Build trusted, collaborative relationships with supply chain partners.
  • Lead on commercial processes: change, valuation, disputes, and final accounts.
  • Assess and certify completed works, payments, and performance incentives.
  • Monitor, forecast, and report on contract performance to enable informed decision-making.
  • Spot opportunities to drive efficiency and innovation across contracts and processes.


  • What we're looking for
  • We’re keen to hear from candidates with:
  • ✔ Strong background in contract administration and commercial management (ideally within NEC4).
  • ✔ Financial management and analytical skills — able to translate data into insight.
  • ✔ Excellent relationship-building skills with the confidence to influence and negotiate.
  • ✔ Experience managing disputes and resolving complex issues.
  • ✔ Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Contract Management, or Civil Engineering.
  • ✔ Bonus points if you’re chartered (RICS) or working towards it, and/or have exposure to the utility or water industry.
