Required Certification: A minimum of Ed Tech II certification, with a preference for Ed Tech III

The Kittery School District is currently seeking a short-term before and/or after care for a small group of children enrolled in the Champions Before and After Care Program. This assignment will last until the contracted outside provider is fully operational (6-8AM and/or 3-5pm). This position is at Mitchell School.
This temporary assignment requires reporting as early as 6:00 AM to provide supervision and engage children in age-appropriate activities in the school's cafeteria until the start of the school day at 8:00 AM. and again from 3:00pm-5:00pm daily.
Children will be offered a bagged breakfast/snack to enjoy during their stay. Educational Technicians who volunteer for this role will be compensated at their regular hourly rate, with overtime pay (1.5x hourly rate) for hours worked beyond 40 in the same week, as they are non-exempt employees.
Interested Educational Technicians should be comfortable supervising young children, facilitating play-based activities, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
