Full-time, Pay range: $25.00 - $30.00 

The Hansel Auto Group is seeking a responsible, hard-working, energetic individual for a high-volume Accounts Receivable desk. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, organized with strong attention to detail and has a professional demeanor. Position requires an individual who can multi-task in a fast-paced environment, flexible to change, can meet deadlines and handle repetitive tasks. 

A/P and/or accounting experience is a plus!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

May include but are not limited to the following:  

  • Organizes and processes incoming invoices from mail and department managers
  • Print all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
  • Reconciles statement and the ledger making sure that payments are consistent with dealership schedules.
  • Analyzes vendor accounts 
  • Assists in monthly closings and deadlines.
  • Prepares analysis of accounts as required.
  • Establishes and maintains effective and cooperative working relationships in the course of performing assigned responsibilities
  • Follows dealership policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a professional appearance.
  • Keeps work area safe and clean.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
  • Performs backup duties to other Accounts desks

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Understanding basic accounting and general math skills
  • Perform detailed office support work accurately. 
  • Use computers in a PC, Windows-based operating environment.
  • CDK experience preferred.
  • Use initiative and sound independent judgment within established guidelines.
  • Prioritize work and coordinate several activities.
  • Organize and maintain accurate files and records.
  • Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, handle repetitive tasks and adhere to deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office including Outlook and Excel
  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • Pass a drug test

 

Desirable Qualifications/Experience: 

  • A/P experience preferred 
  • Dealership experience is a plus but not required
  • Education and/or training in accounting
