Triage patients accurately and efficiently in numerous settings (Pavilion, ER, medical unit). Determine level of care. Determine level and type of risk, suicide and homicide, for each patient that presents as %22in crisis.%22 Conduct crisis intervention and support services to consumers of all ages. Conduct mental health and chemical dependency screening for consumers and family members. Coordinate direct admissions between patients%27 providers, inpatient psychiatrists, and inpatient units. Maintain documentation for all crisis and case management services, including but not limited to social, psychiatric, and medical histories, and presenting cases in a way that supports disposition and preliminary diagnosis.%3Cbr%3E- Provides offsite and community-based response. Provides consultation services to medical units as needed. Provide consultation and education to hospital staff and external customers. Screen for acute care services including partial, outpatient, and case management.%3Cbr%3E- Provide psychiatric coverage to Network Emergency departments and other departments, as needed. Present detailed cases to insurance reviewers for certification.
