As a Recruiter, you’ll be a strategic partner in attracting and hiring top talent across Ohio Machinery. You’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle—from sourcing to onboarding—while building strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for select roles across the organization.
  • Develop and execute tailored sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Promote job openings via our ATS and leading job boards to drive inbound interest.
  • Actively source candidates through networking, social media, cold outreach, and industry-specific platforms.
  • Screen applicants and present top talent to hiring managers.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with schools, organizations, and community groups.
  • Represent Ohio Machinery at career fairs, school visits, and recruiting events.

What You Bring
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in the equipment distribution or manufacturing industry.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Ohio employment laws and recruiting best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting, and to stand or sit for prolonged periods. To occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight, to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination, including the use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
