Overview:
WRAL, part of Capitol Broadcasting Company, is looking for an all-star Creative Services Producer with a passion for creating impactful marketing. This role isn’t just about making spots—it’s about shaping the way viewers see and connect with one of the most respected local news brands in the country.
We need a producer who can concept, write, shoot, and edit content that elevates our news image campaigns while also handling a wide range of commercial and station projects. If you’re equal parts storyteller, innovator, and collaborator, this is your shot.

What You’ll Do
- Lead News Image Campaigns: Develop, pitch, and execute campaigns that define and reinforce the WRAL news brand across broadcast, digital, and social.
- Produce Compelling Creative: Write, shoot, and edit commercials, promos, and image spots that cut through the clutter and connect with viewers.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work hand-in-hand with news, marketing, sales, and community partners to deliver work that drives results.
- Multi-Platform Creativity: Adapt ideas and campaigns for multiple platforms, with a sharp eye for what works on TV, digital, social, and emerging media.
- Execute with Excellence: From concept to final cut, ensure every piece meets WRAL’s high creative and quality standards.
- Support Live Productions: Contribute to live and special event productions when needed.
What You Bring
- Proven News Marketing Chops: Experience producing image campaigns that grow audience and build brand identity.
- Creative Storytelling: Ability to write, shoot, and edit content that’s emotional, memorable, and uniquely WRAL.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere; working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and motion graphics a plus.
- Production Skills: Skilled with cameras, lighting, and audio to produce polished content.
- Collaborative Spirit: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Organizational Drive: Ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and push creative boundaries under pressure.
- Bonus Points: Live, multi-camera, or event production experience. Drone certification or graphic design chops.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Film, media, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in news marketing, commercial production, or creative services.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move production equipment (40+ lbs).

- This is an in-person, onsite position working from our corporate headquarters in Raleigh, NC.
- Work is performed in a typical office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Limited local travel may be required, such as traveling to other CBC locations as necessary.
