The HR Generalist serves as a contact and resource for Human Resources and plays an integral role in the organization’s growth by understanding the needs of hiring managers. The HR Generalist is a HR Professional who possesses knowledge of employment and labor law and has a deep understanding of the organization. This position has a high level of access to personal and professional data regarding the individual employees and their families, and must comply with all federal and state regulations, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), to keep the data secure and private.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Human Resources Certification preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
- Three to five years of HR Generalist experience required, healthcare experience preferred
- Knowledge of state and federal labor laws
- Advanced proficiency in the use of a personal computer and current software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and email)
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills with the ability to develop trusting relationships
- HRIS Experience
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets
- Excellent follow up skills
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Skilled in promoting diversity and equality
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to motivate and mentor supervisors and managers
- Team oriented
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Adapts easily to frequent changes in workload
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
- Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to business needs as required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to travel between clinic locations
- Ability to reach, lift, bend knees, stoop, climb and push or pull items weighing up to 25 lbs
- May include standing, sitting, and/or walking for extended periods
- May include performing repetitive tasks
