Electrical Engineering Intern- Power and Control (Baton Rouge) at Bascom Hunter

Part time position for programs involving the development and testing of thermal management systems for extreme applications. This position is expected to consist of at most 20 hours during the semester with the potential of 40 during the summer break. This position has the possibility of leading to long term permanent employment with local engineering company.
Essential Functions:
- Designing Test Fixtures
- Building and wiring test fixtures
- Writing test plans and procedures
- Executing test
- Project logistics
- LabView Programming
- Engineering Drawings
Qualifications:
- Permanent resident or US citizen only.
- Self-motivated individual.
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior college student studying one of the following engineering fields: Software, Computer, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
- Experience with software programming desired.
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office products.
- Preference for candidates with work history.
- LabVIEW Experience preferred.
- Engineering Cad Software experience preferred.
