Job Title: SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS- SELF CONTAINED
Reports To: Building Principal/ Supervisor, or other administrator if needed
Effective date: 11/1/2025 or sooner
Salary Range: Candidates will be placed on guide according to qualifying experience ($62,289 - $104,889)

Position Summary: Special Class (Self Contained) LLD mild to moderate K-2

Qualifications:

Teacher of the Handicapped required OR
Elementary certificate and Teacher of Students with Disabilities certificate required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: See attached Job Description (job description should be added in Recruiting and Hiring)

Technology Skills: Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Frontline Applications, and Student Information System.

Evaluation of Performance: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the New Jersey Administrative Code and Board of Education policy.

Terms of Employment: 10 Month Contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement. See above for specific salary information.
