Midland Transport is currently seeking a Truckload Coordinator to be based at our Head Office in Dieppe, NB. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and arranging asset truckload operations. They are the main point of contact between customers and dispatch operations and are expected to uphold superb communication, enter and provide accurate details, as well as track loads within our network.

Responsibilities
- Arrange loads with customers by booking pickup and delivery appointments and entering available loads into AS400 system.
- Track and trace loads within the network to ensure service requirements for the customer are met. Communicate with customers if rebooks are needed for either pick up or delivery.
- Communicate load requirements and delivery information with dispatch to ensure loads are picked up or delivered without issues.
- Update Customer portals with delivery information to accurately reflect information in real time.
Qualifications
- Education Required: Post-Secondary Degree/College Diploma in a related field
- Experience required: 2 to 5 years of business-related experience, preferably in the transportation industry
- Effective communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail
- Familiar with Microsoft Outlook and Excel with basic typing/computer skills
- Knowledge of AS400 will be considered an asset
