WHAT YOU WILL DO:

EOS is currently searching for a skilled and dedicated Asset Technician. As an Asset Technician, you will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations and technical services, ensuring smooth logistics and IT provisioning. Your responsibilities will span across physical asset handling, technical support, and collaboration with engineering teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Load/unload trucks, cycle count, pick, pack, shrink wrap, label, and palletize products.
  • Prepare assets for shipment: picking, packaging, labeling, and courier coordination.
  • Receive and process inbound shipments; deliver to stock locations.
  • Conduct periodic cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Organize materials/items on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Process daily shipment orders: print orders, create packing lists and labels, and organize pallets.
  • Provision laptops, cell phones, tablets (Apple and Windows products).
  • Provide software support for macOS and Windows (Boot Camp + Parallels).
  • Offer technical hardware support across a range of devices.
  • Triage assets and recommend cosmetic or OS repairs.
  • Troubleshoot issues, remediate viruses, manage wireless networks.
  • Compile repair data and report performance metrics.
  • Explain technical concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Support server systems in networked environments.
  • Configure operational environments and install network hardware and cabling.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network cabling issues.
  • Rack and stack networking hardware onsite and offsite.
  • Provide technical support via various communication channels.
  • Collaborate with network engineers and project managers.
  • Assist in network design, implementation, and issue resolution.
  • Take initiative in learning and improving with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and compliance standards.
  • Work cooperatively with diverse teams.
  • Operate in a warehouse environment (80%) and office setting (20%).
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, practical work environment.
  • Travel to customer sites within the region as needed.
  • Analyze customer requirements and translate them into system and design specifications.
  • Support special project planning and execution.
  • Identify and execute process improvement opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or company.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and promote change effectively.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA regulations and industrial equipment requirements.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience with inventory management and warehouse software.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to interpret data and solve complex problems.
  • Technical aptitude with computer hardware, operating systems, and networks.
  • Experience in maintenance systems and repairs.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

  • Prior experience with server systems in networked environments.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Passion for learning and technical growth.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel and support regional customer needs.
