SUMMARY
The Marketing Director leads Envent’s marketing and sales development efforts to support the company’s growth to $200M in revenue over the next decade. This position is based in house at our LaPorte Corporate Office. This role blends hands-on campaign execution, lead generation, customer engagement, and public communication, aligned with Envent’s core services and markets—refineries, chemical plants, midstream operators, municipalities, engineering firms, and environmental remediation firms.
The Marketing Director works cross-functionally with Account Managers, Directors, and C-level leadership to ensure marketing aligns with business strategy. The role emphasizes regional and vertical growth, brand management, incident response, and the constructive use of AI-powered tools for marketing automation, competitive intelligence, content generation, and campaign optimization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties may vary according to region, division area, and/or assignment. Other duties may be assigned.
Strategic Marketing & Campaign Planning
Develop and execute an annual marketing plan supporting core and emerging service lines
Prioritize outreach across refineries, midstream, municipalities, and engineering/environmental firms
Align campaign timing and messaging with sales objectives
Campaign Execution
Launch 3–5 integrated campaigns annually using SEO, email, social media, print, and digital ads
Execute account-based marketing for Envent’s top 50 clients
Support expansion in Canada, the East Coast, and Mid-Continent regions
Sales Development Support
Generate and qualify leads using LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Industrial Info, and AI-enhanced platforms
Distribute leads via Salesforce and integrated systems
Maintain Salesforce data accuracy and follow-up protocols on aged quotes, dormant accounts, and stalled deals
Coordinate low-cost contract work through Upwork/Fiverr for SEO, list cleanup, presentations, and technical web fixes
Regional & Vertical Growth Support
Develop targeted messaging and digital assets by geography and industry
Track market engagement and opportunity creation in priority areas
Content & Collateral Development
Maintain sales materials, brochures, presentations, and playbooks
Create blogs, case studies, and press releases on a regular cadence
Tailor content for high-value accounts and industry verticals using AI-assisted content tools
Trade Shows & Events
Organize 6–10 annual trade shows including logistics, booth setup, and lead capture
Ensure rapid post-event lead follow-up and tracking
Public Relations & Risk Communication
Maintain 12-month PR calendar and industry media list
Issue press releases on services, innovations, and key contracts
Develop and manage a rapid response communications plan in coordination with Legal and Executive Leadership for incidents, operational issues, or reputational risks
Strategic Account Support
Deliver structured outreach for Envent’s top 50 accounts
Assist with quarterly business reviews and client reporting
Monitor account engagement and identify cross-selling opportunities
SEO, Website Updates & Social Media
Oversee and execute SEO strategy, including keyword planning, audits, and technical optimization
Coordinate website audits and manage updates to support performance and lead generation
Manage content distribution and brand presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms
Collaborate with web developers and freelance support to maintain digital assets
AI-Driven Marketing & Competitive Intelligence
Leverage AI tools to monitor competitor activity, pricing, services, and digital footprint
Use AI and analytics platforms to optimize campaigns, improve targeting, and enhance ROI
Implement AI-based tools for automation of reporting, performance tracking, and content ideation
QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office 365, email automation, and campaign analytics
• Familiarity with lead generation platforms (ZoomInfo, Industrial Info, LinkedIn)
• Experience using AI-powered marketing tools (e.g., Jasper, ChatGPT, SEMrush, Crayon, etc.)
• Strong writing skills for technical and promotional content
• Ability to manage vendors for content, digital, and web support
• Occasional travel required for trade shows and industry events
• Must pass background check and drug screening
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 7–10 years in B2B marketing, sales development, or industrial services marketing as a Manager

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to sit at a desk, use fingers to operate a computer keyboard, and use hands and arms to reach for files or manuals. The Associate is occasionally required to stand and walk around an office and talk or hear on the telephone or while communicating with others. While performing the duties of this job, the Marketing Director is required to sit at a desk, use fingers to operate a computer keyboard or calculator, phones, photocopier, filing cabinets, fax machines, reach with hands and arms for manuals or papers, and talk or hear on the telephone or while communicating with others. The Marketing Director frequently is required to stand and walk around an office. The Marketing Director is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch to obtain files in file cabinets. The Marketing Director must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
