Mercer-Zimmerman, Inc., a leading commercial lighting manufacturers’ sales agency, is looking for the right candidate to fill a Customer Service Specialist role in our Omaha office.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Managing new project orders received from electrical distributors to ensure orders match what was quoted and are entered with accuracy.
  • Providing front-line phone support to address order questions (such as availability, pricing, ship dates) and general company information.
  • Addressing order issues - communicating with customers and manufacturers to ensure issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office.  A strong comfort level with entering orders into industry specific software and accessing information from the same program.  
  • A High School Diploma.  A college degree is a plus.
  • Bonus points if you are familiar with the construction industry.
