ABOUT THE POSITION

We’re seeking three Mechanical Engineers to join our Engineering & Maintenance division in Kwinana, Western Australia. These roles are part of a strategic restructure aimed at enhancing technical support and operational efficiency at our lithium processing refinery.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implementing and managing the site’s maintenance program for all rotating and mechanical equipment.
  • Developing and optimising condition monitoring and preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Assigning and monitoring key equipment reliability and availability metrics across the plant.
  • Evaluating equipment performance, damage and failure rates.
  • Performing root-cause analysis and equipment failure investigations.
  • Engineering solutions to address equipment failure, malfunction or changed performance.
  • Collaborating with OEMs and external contractors for equipment upgrades and modifications.
  • Preparing detailed work instructions for corrective maintenance activities.
  • Providing technical support to site personnel in all aspects of Mechanical Engineering.

 

What you will bring

  • Bachelor degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a processing plant.
  • Strong knowledge of reliability-centred maintenance and condition monitoring.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SAP and advanced Microsoft Office tools.

LOCATION

TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.

Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
