About The Role
Join us as a Senior Risk Analyst and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of risk management across our Group. You’ll be at the forefront of identifying and managing risks, driving incident and breach resolution, and strengthening business continuity planning. Working closely with leaders and teams across the business, you’ll enhance governance, improve risk reporting, and help build a culture of proactive risk awareness. Key Responsibilities:
- Support enterprise-wide risk identification, assessment, mitigation, reporting, and monitoring in alignment with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- Monitor emerging risks, trends, and systemic issues, escalating through the right channels and assisting with resolution.
- Manage incidents and breaches via Jia, including register updates, customer communications, and post-incident reporting.
- Participate in cross-functional reviews, including CEO risk meetings, and drive follow-up initiatives to embed stronger risk practices across operations.
- Enhance governance by improving risk reporting, analytics, and assurance activities such as RCSA, walkthroughs, and control testing, while using data insights to identify and address control weaknesses.
- Strengthen resilience through business continuity and disaster recovery planning, including BCP preparation, testing, and evaluation with business units.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in enterprise risk, operational risk, cybersecurity risk, or internal audit, ideally within financial services.
- Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and ASIC regulatory requirements, with tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business, Risk, IT, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications (FRM, CISA, CA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent) are desirable.
- Experience in Forex/CFD trading, ICT, cybersecurity, or IT audit will be highly regarded.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with clear and confident communication.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI), with exposure to Jira, Notion, or GRC platforms an advantage.
