Job Description

THE WORK

Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced and driven professional to serve as Senior Program Manager of the S-70 Commercial Program Portfolio. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible to ensure internal execution and performance of all current and future contracts, including IRAD projects, and new capture proposals. The Senior Program Manager will manage a team of Program Managers and interface directly with functional leads and Finance to ensure all contracted activities are on track, integrated, staffed, and achieving the company’s financial plan objectives. The Senior Program Manager will report to the AAFS Black Hawk Sustainment and S-70 Program Director.

In this role, you will:
Lead team of Program Managers to execute portfolio of contracts within the cost, schedule, and technical requirements of development, production, test, customer acceptance, delivery, and support efforts.
Report status of key projects on a regular basis to Programs and Executive Leadership. Resolve internal management issues and escalate as needed. Coordinate and prepare monthly AAFS VP Business Review presentation with standardized metrics for each program, a financial summary of the platform performance, forward outlook and status of key product line initiatives.
Represent S-70 commercial Aircraft Programs at Quality Council, S&OP, Cash Collection, and Obsolescence Management meetings
Develop strong working relationships with customer counterparts, major suppliers, Sikorsky leadership team and team members to ensure program success.
Partner with the Business Development team to define, estimate, and convert proposals into executable contracts.
Track and manage activities to full compliance of all ITC guidelines and requirements as applicable.
Drive initiatives focused on creating a seamless operating environment between Stratford and PZL in Mielec, Poland

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline
MA/MS/MBA Preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in program management, business operations, finance, or related field
Demonstrated experience with cost and schedule management (e.g., Earned Value Management, IMS/IMP, baseline control)
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex program requirements

Desired skills

Experience in Program Management with financial control and earned value experience is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Exceptional attention to detail, focus on quality
Ability to learn at an accelerated rate
Interest in international business, trade compliance, appreciation for cultural differences
Strong team building skills required.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple contracts concurrently is preferred.
Solid appreciation of the importance of integrated master plans (IMP) and master schedules (IMS). Able to utilize enterprise scheduling tools to manage all projects/programs. Able to formulate and execute recovery plans as required.
Knowledge of Risk Management tools and implementation is preferred.
Experience working with Operations final assembly, completions and hangar ops is preferred.
Knowledge of International Trade Compliance preferred

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
