Position Summary
Financial Coordinator shall have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience performing Accounting, Finance and Forecasting duties and utilizing Sage Intact for Construction for monitoring cash flow, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and assisting with payroll, budgeting, tax compliance and financial statements.
Essential Functions
- Serves as a Finance, Accounting and Forecasting Coordinator for WRA Finance Team.
- Monitors and understands the importance of cash flow.
- Assists with preparation, sending out, revising and tracking payment of monthly invoices.
- Responsible for managing daily accounts receivable and payable transactions into SAGE Intacct to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Stays up to date on accounting technology strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Understands project contracts to properly implement cost/ project fees for billings and project performance tracking.
- Assists with forecasting, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, recommending corrective action.
- Assist with the development of written procedures documenting key financial processes.
- Client Relations - Seek to understand and communicate the unique needs of each client, with internal and external audiences.
- Client Resource - Work with clients and team to connect organizational goals with design of learning spaces.
- Communication – Effectively communicate design strategies, plans, and results to the department leadership.
- Adaptability - Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
- Travel - Regional travel as needed, attendance and participation in related conferences.
- Participate in continuing education seminars, conventions & organizations relevant to information management. Stay up to date on the latest best practices and techniques.

Required/Preferred Advanced Skill:

- AirBase software experience a plus

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in accounting required
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on Sage Intacct experience including:
- Streamlining reporting and dashboards for leadership visibility
- Optimizing AP/AR, GL, and month-end close processes
- Supporting post-implementation clean-up and system integrations
- Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships and solid working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to make formal presentations in front of large audiences as needed.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handle adversity and frequent change, and balance workload with multiple and competing priorities.
- Customer service focus, with demonstrated experience dealing successfully with front-line internal and external customers.
The salary this website provides for this position may or may not be aligned with the salary that WRA Architects pays for this position. The salary WRA will offer will commensurate with experience.
