Salary Range:    $24.00 - $25.00 Hourly

Description

The HR Compliance Coordinator supports Human Resources operations with a strong focus on compliance, audits, reporting, and employee records management. This role ensures accuracy, accountability, and timely follow-up on compliance-related matters, while also assisting with general HR administrative support.

 

Daily Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain HR compliance binders, I-9 files, and personnel records.
  • Conduct regular audits of I-9s, new hire files, and employee documentation.
  • Post and update required federal, state, and company employment notices.
  • Assist with internal and third-party audits by gathering required documents (I-9s, payroll records, time cards, etc.).
  • Track and report compliance metrics (e.g., meal/rest periods, attendance, corrective actions).
  • Prepare and distribute compliance and KPI reports as directed.
  • Maintain attendance/point tracking system; ensure updates are accurate and timely.
  • Monitor Zero Hours and job abandonment reports; coordinate follow-up and final pay processing.
  • Document all employee communication and follow-up related to compliance issues.
  • Coordinate employee performance review tracking and follow-up with supervisors.
  • Administer employee recognition programs (e.g., Employee of the Month).
  • Serve as a front-line resource for employees with HR or compliance-related inquiries.
  • Provide administrative support including phones, filing, and biometric enrollment.

 

 

 

Qualifications


  • Associate’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
  • 2+ years of HR, compliance, or administrative experience (manufacturing/production setting a plus).
  • Knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and record keeping best practices.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, bilingual preferred.
