What You’ll Be Doing
As the Outside Sales Manager, you will promote and build relationships with local businesses and clients in the Kansas City metro area, Lawrence, Wichita, Hutchinson, Kansas, Omaha, and Lincoln, Nebraska. Your responsibilities will include prospecting, nurturing, closing, and growing business accounts while using data and creativity to develop local market strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized service and consistent follow-up
- Generate strategic insights and share actionable recommendations with senior leadership
- Prospect and cold call small to mid-sized businesses to generate qualified B2B leads
- Design and execute tailored marketing and sales campaigns to penetrate target segments
- Develop and manage a robust portfolio of corporate and group rental clients
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure client success and satisfaction
- Identify local market opportunities and tailor messaging for brand alignment and growth
What You Bring
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical thinking and data literacy
- 2+ years of experience in outside sales, business development, or B2B account management
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
- Background in marketing strategy, customer segmentation, or territory planning is a strong plus
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in automotive, travel, transportation, or hospitality is a bonus
