**The Traveling FSR is responsible for filling staffing needs at the following locations: Magnolia, Conroe, and Spring.**

Candidate must be available Monday – Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm, normal schedule M-F 8:30am – 5:30pm

Professionally assists and serves members in a wide range of consumer and business services.  This position will travel as an FSR/Teller to any FivePoint North Houston Branch. Interviews, takes applications, and prepares loans for credit approval.  Completes loan processing, servicing, and disbursements as needed.  Responsible for performing a variety of member services such as opening and closing consumer and business accounts, renewing term share accounts and assisting members with bookkeeping and checking account problems. Answers member questions regarding Credit Union services provided and performs a variety of account maintenance.  Attends to telephone inquiries and transactions for members. 

 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of loan interviews, processing, and clerical support functions.
Assumes responsibility for the effective and professional performance of member service functions.
Assumes responsibility for efficient, effective, and accurate performance of teller functions, as needed.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective and professional business relationships with members.
 
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and communication and working relationships with area personnel and with management.
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
 

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
High school graduate or equivalent.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
General knowledge of financial products and services.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Minimum six months member service or loan interviewing experience.


SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent communication and public relations skills.
Good organization skills and attentive to detail.
Able to operate related computer applications, and related business equipment including telephone, calculator, and adding machine.
Cooperative and able to coordinate well with others.
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
None
 
Preferred Knowledge:
Understanding of loan interview procedures.
Basic understanding of financial operations is strongly preferred.
 
Experience Preferred:
One to two years member service or loan interviewing experience.
Previous experience with a full-service financial institution helpful.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION 
TALKING: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
AVERAGE HEARING: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
FINGER DEXTERITY:Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together.
REPETITIVE MOTION: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITIES: Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time.  Exerts up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally. (Almost all office jobs.)
STANDING: For prolonged periods of time on busy lobby days. On a regular basis, stands about 80% of working time.
 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Frequent local travel among credit union branches.
  • Possible occasional overnight stays and out-of-town travel.
