Program Manager – Mission Prep Healthcare (Adolescent Program)
Location: Waterford, Virginia
Compensation: $76,000-$78,000 exempt.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00am-6:00pm. Due to the nature of the field, this position will be on an on-call schedule for crisis or emergencies.
AMFM Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to oversee Mission Prep Healthcare, our Adolescent treatment program in Waterford, Virginia. As part of the AMFM Healthcare umbrella, Mission Prep Healthcare focuses on providing comprehensive mental health care to adolescents. The Program Manager will ensure the seamless operation of the program, overseeing house operations, program policies and procedures, compliance activities, and staff training. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of care and compliance, ensuring both program and client success from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
The Program Manager will be responsible for the following duties, along with any additional tasks as required:
- Effectively schedule up to 60 staff on 24 hour shift schedules. Able to adapt to various employees' schedules and arrange for reliable coverage at all times. Work with colleagues to complete schedules for all residential houses.
- Proficiently navigate our Time Management system for payroll, approving/denying staff overtime, managing the timecards of supervisees, and minimizing the organizations payroll liability through efficient monitoring
- Strong grasp of the fundamentals of the A Mission for Michael Program. Able to execute the mission statement of the organization. Must ensure both client safety and experience are prioritized and executed on a daily basis.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism including dress, interpersonal skills, management of staff, boundaries etc. between clients and staff.
- Strong skills in conflict resolution between clients, high proficiency in the ability to ACA block, deescalate tense situations, and awareness/sensitivity to clients that are at times actively psychotic. Ensure the delivery of quality group facilitation by the program staff.
- Interview, Hire, and train new program staff and orient them towards their required duties, such as ensuring that information in pass down’s and communication from the house are accurate and provide a reliable account of the activities occurring therein. The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring their cohort stays at a full FTE count at all times.
- Conduct Safety Surveillance Tours of the houses, monitor the status of each house's Infection Control practices, and conduct regular inspection of the premises at your designated sites using the client experience checklist form.
- Manage the logistical needs of your cohort, ensuring all clients get to appointments on time, that drives are scheduled, and act as the primary point of contact between your cohort and the organization as a whole.
- Participation and collaboration in leadership meetings among other house cohorts and division quality management related projects. Will provide coverage for colleagues when needed which includes being available in the evenings and/or weekends
- Collaborate with the Compliance Department in order to provide them with various documentation and information needed to maintain state Licensure.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree is Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or related field OR 2+ years of equivalent managerial experience in a treatment type setting.
- Possess valid driver’s license with ability to be insured by our auto insurance policy which includes, but not limited to, the following requirements: 4 continuous years of driving experience, 21 years of age or older, less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, and no more than 1 major violation in the last 3 years.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work on a computer/keyboard, use electronic systems, communicate with others through written and verbal formats, ability to sit for long periods of time, listening, reading comprehension, lifting up to 10 lbs.
- Successful completion of Criminal Background Check through DBHDS, Background Investigation Unit, and VDSS Registry Searches, in addition to passing the ADP Selective Screening Services background check.
