Under limited supervision, responsible for receiving, sorting, inspecting, and delivering incoming material shipments within a stockroom, warehouse, receiving, PAR location, or mail center.
Schedule: On-site. Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Receives, sorts, inspects, and delivers incoming material shipments within a stockroom, warehouse, receiving or mail center.
- Inspects materials and ensures receipt as ordered.
- Reviews shipping documents, bills of lading, packing slips, delivery tickets, invoices, and department order forms to complete shipment inspections and to maintain stockroom inventories.
- Conducts PAR location counts and restocks PAR locations.
- Coordinates the processing and sorting of materials for delivery to recipients or distribution point.
- Assists customers with shipments and order inquiries.
- Completes delivery of materials and orders to customers, obtaining signatures as required; picks up outbound materials/shipments and processes utilizing appropriate method.
- Coordinates with material suppliers to correct discrepancies.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge in logistics, warehouse, or other related fields.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
- Exhibits accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work for quality.
- Ability to understand and act on written instructions.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and a clean driving record.

- Front-loaded Paid Time Off: 128 to 208 hours (16 to 26 days) of Paid Time Off based on years of service, given at the start of each fiscal year. PTO may be prorated in year one based on date of hire.
