Looking for candidates with both Sterile compounding and oncology experience
Description:Under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist our Pharmacy Technician / CPhT procures, prepares, packages, distributes and disposes medications and pharmaceutical supplies to assist the department in providing quality pharmaceutical care for all patients.
Shift: 7a-3:30p
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Successful completion of an ASHP accredited technician training program or enrollment in a professional-related school preferred.
- 6 months experience as Pharmacy Technician or completion of ASHP-accredited tech training program preferred.
- Current CPhT certification through either PTCB or NHA and active Georgia Pharmacy Technician registration, or current enrollment in an accredited School of Pharmacy with a current Georgia Pharmacy Intern license.
- Must maintain certification and registration through entire length of employment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: (Medium-Heavy) 36-75 lbs, 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 20-35 lbs, 34-66% of the workday; (frequently); 10-20 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 75 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 35 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking; Occasional sitting; Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing); Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
