Position: Incubation Developer Student

Education Recommendations

Currently a candidate for a Master’s, Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.

Responsibilities

Join a rapid-prototyping team building and testing new technologies in automation, observability, and security for core networks.

You will:

  • Work across back-end microservices, front-end UIs, and APIs to LLMs and existing components.
  • Participate in an agile team environment and document findings and work items.
  • Contribute to projects that support automation, service assurance, and sustainability in Nokia’s 5G Core products.

Qualifications

You have:

  • Strong programming skills in Go, JavaScript, or Python
  • Proficient in YAML and JSON
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, VMs, and Linux
  • Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, and/or Crossplane
  • Previous experience with AI/ML projects

     

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience with public cloud systems: AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate strong problem-resolution skills
