Contract: Permanent
Salary: £14.21 p/h (Annual Salary of £29,558 FTE, rising to at least £31,678 after 2 years’ service)
What hours are available?
Heathrow is a fast paced and exciting operational business. To support the operation and our passengers we offer Security Officers a range of rosters. You can express a preference for a Full Time pattern when you fully apply. Whichever you choose, the shifts you work will be approximately 8.5 hours long. Shift pattern examples have been provided below but may be subject to change:
Early - shift times could vary but are likely to start between 04:15-05:45 with shifts finishing 12:45-14:30. Four days on, two days off.
Core Combination (Full Time):
Mixed early (starting as early as 04:15), late (finishing as late as 22:45) and some night shifts (e.g. 21:00 - 06:00). Four days on, two days off.
Core Combination (Part Time): Mixed early (starting as early as 04:15), late (finishing as late as 22:45) and some night shifts (e.g. 21:00 - 06:00). Equates to an average of 20 hours worked per week.
Once you’ve completed your training, you’ll know your shifts 12 months in advance, so you can plan around them. Swaps are often possible, providing even greater flexibility, but it's important that you're available for all shifts on the pattern you apply for.
