OSI Optoelectronics is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist. This individual will support strategic growth and brand advancement and is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing communication strategies that effectively promote a company, its products, or its services. They will also bridge the gap between the organization and its target audiences, ensuring that messaging is consistent, engaging, and aligned with brand objectives.
Responsibilities:- Demand Generation: Contribute to demand generation initiatives by supporting lead acquisition strategies, email marketing campaigns, and targeted outreach efforts.
- Content Creation: Aid in the development of high-quality compelling content, such as blog articles, newsletters, social media posts, marketing collateral such as brochures, technical papers, datasheets, product descriptions, and press releases
- Web Support: Collaborate with web developers to ensure marketing content is effectively integrated into the website, optimize user experience, and support web-based analytics and tracking implementations.
- Campaign Support: Lead the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and live events.
- Social Media Management: Lead with scheduling, posting, and monitoring content on social media platforms (e.g., Twitter, LinkedIn), ensuring alignment with the company’s brand and messaging standards.
- Data Analysis: Support the collection and analysis of marketing data—such as campaign performance metrics, website analytics, and social media engagement—to inform and refine marketing strategies.
- Customer Communication: Respond to customer inquiries via social media or email, upholding excellent customer service and fostering strong client relationships.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with departments such as sales, engineering, and product development to ensure cohesive communication and unified branding efforts.
- New Product Launch: Responsible for managing the entire new product launch process, including launch planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events, trade shows, webinars, and product launches.
- Market Research: Research industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, providing actionable insights to the marketing team.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Relationship Management (CRM) administration: Serve as the administrative lead for the D365 CRM module, overseeing user access, data integrity, process optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure the platform supports the marketing team’s objectives and overall business initiatives.
- Budget Tracking: Support the management of marketing budgets by processing invoices and monitoring expenditure in accordance with departmental guidelines.

Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- Solid understanding of marketing principles, campaign execution, and analytics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Desired
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Relationship Management (CRM) module.
- Familiarity with web development workflows and collaboration tools (e.g., CMS platforms, HTML/CSS basics, Google Tag Manager, or web analytics).
- Experience working with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Paid Media Experience (Google Ads, Linkedin Ads, etc.)
- Exposure to email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot).
- Understanding of SEO/SEM principles and digital tracking tools.
