Sr Financial Planning Analyst at Idaho First Bank

Idaho First Bank is excited to add a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to our growing team in Boise. We are seeking a data-driven problem solver who is passionate about designing and automating dashboards and reports. This individual will utilize data to provide meaningful insights help stakeholders make smart decisions. The role will be heavily involved in the strategic and operational initiatives of a rapidly growing financial institution.  

This position adheres to Compliance standards with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

Essential Functions

Planning and Reporting

• Drive the continuous improvement and automation of forecasting and reporting models and processes
• Using Microsoft Power BI, develop and maintain KPI's and dashboards to deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance statistics
• Support the coordination of the Bank's annual budgeting and rolling quarterly forecasting processes
• Work with the finance team to support interest rate risk and liquidity risk reporting and strategy
• Work with internal stakeholders across the organization to develop, automate, and deliver operational reporting  

Analysis

• Utilize historic data to develop and update analysis of various customer and product-level activity
• Develop analysis and reporting to drive customer profitability reporting and inform product pricing models
• Use your analytical skills to gather, model, package and present data to help the business make data informed decisions
• Utilize data analysis to drive continuous operational improvement and enhance reporting capabilities
• Participate in ad hoc analysis and reporting as required by management

Requirements

• 4-6 years of financial planning or operational analysis experience
• MicrosoftPower BI and Excel proficiency (IBM Cognos a plus)
• Strong analytic, financial modeling and data visualization skills
