Position Overview
 We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our legal team in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, this role is critical in supporting legal operations across a wide range of matters, particularly those related to aircraft asset management. The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of hands-on legal experience, demonstrate strong initiative, and possess the confidence to take ownership of legal deliverables.

This individual will play a key role in driving legal workflows, identifying and escalating actionable items, and ensuring timely execution of legal tasks. They will work closely with the General Counsel to proactively manage priorities, support informed decision-making, and maintain alignment with regulatory and business objectives. Aviation industry experience is a plus, but a proven ability to operate independently and effectively in a fast-paced, global environment is essential.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and review legal documents related to aircraft and engine transactions, leasing and maintenance agreements, vendor relations, corporate records, and regulatory filings.
  • Conduct legal research on federal and international aviation regulations, commercial law, and international compliance standards.
  • Support the General Counsel in managing legal matters related to aircraft asset management.
  • Assist with dispute resolution, litigation, regulatory filings, including document preparation, discovery, and case tracking.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, regulatory bodies, and external counsel to ensure legal and regulatory alignment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
  • Attend meetings, manage legal workflows, and ensure continuity of legal operations during absences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in legal studies or related field preferred but not required. Equivalent practical experience will be strongly considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a corporate setting (Dealbreaker)
  • Experience with cross-border transactions and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong organizational, research, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
  • Experience partnering with senior legal leadership.
