WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Warehouse Lead, you will play a key role in managing logistics operations and ensuring the efficient handling of assets and shipments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain high standards of safety and organization, and contribute to continuous improvement across warehouse processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare assets for shipment: picking, packaging, labeling, and coordinating with couriers.
- Sort and place materials/items on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Process daily shipment orders, including packing lists, labels, and pallet organization.
- Operate forklifts and manage equipment with care.
- Maintain clean, organized, and secure warehouse areas.
- Lift heavy boxes and equipment; stand for extended shifts (10+ hours).
- Collaborate with network engineers and project managers.
- Ensure on-time schedule performance and compliance with regulations.
- Analyze customer requirements and convert them into system requirements.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Work independently and safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the lead/supervisor.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Previous experience in logistics or warehouse operations.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety and operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items and operate forklifts.
- Comfortable working long shifts while standing.
- Self-motivated and analytical thinker with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
- Experience in maintenance systems and repairs.
- Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, EPA regulations, and industrial equipment requirements.
- Ability to interpret data and solve complex problems.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Desire to work with a high-performing, collaborative team.
