Preferred Therapy Solutions is seeking a Director of Human Resources and Recruitment.
This position requires experience in providing support and direction to all management levels of the organization in a variety of human resource activities in accordance with the policies and practices of the company and the regulations and administrative rulings of the governmental organizations and other regulatory and advisory authorities and organizations. This will include strategic human resources planning to position the company as an employer of choice by developing policies based on trends and issues, directing human resources activities such as recruitment, compensation, employee relations, benefits, training, and supervising and developing HR/Recruitment staff. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance. - Participate in the development of the company's plans and programs as a strategic partner but particularly from the perspective of the impact on people. - Translate the strategic and tactical business plans to HR strategic and operational plans. - Design and implement effective recruitment, workforce planning and retention strategies. - Ensure company compliance with federal, state and local laws related to employment and training, employee benefits, compensation, employee relations and other regulated human resources activities. - Remain current with changes in human resource and employment law. - Oversee employee benefit programs including medical, life, disability, PTO, LOA management, workers' compensation, and unemployment compensation. - Ensure company managers use Performance Management process. Train in the utilization of comprehensive and timely performance management to improve organizational performance. - Develop and maintain human resource systems that deliver accurate information to senior management. - Monitor and analyze data and trends to identify potential opportunities, needs, issues, problems, etc. that could impact business results. - Manage the budget and other financial measures of the Human Resources Department. - Continue improving the programs, policies, practices and processes associated with meeting the strategic and operational people issues of the organization.
