Job Description:

We’re excited to announce an opportunity for a current Sika team member to step into the Inventory Control Coordinator role at our Brighton, CO site.

This role is key in keeping our plant running smoothly by reconciling inventory, processing orders, collecting data, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. It’s a great opportunity to build on your skills, take on added responsibility, and contribute directly to the success of our operations.

You’ll work under the general supervision of the Materials Manager, but independence, teamwork, and a positive attitude will be critical to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively support and participate in the Sika SAFE Program.
  • Record and maintain inventory data; prepare reports, graphs, and trend analyses.
  • Create labels, packaging markings, and shipping documents to support production and logistics.
  • Perform cycle counts and report findings to Leadership.
  • Support stock level inputs for assigned SKUs and non-SKU products.
  • Process returned items and coordinate proper staging for rework, disposition, or waste.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Production on rework, testing, and product disposition.
  • Work with other Sika facilities on receiving, packaging, and labeling activities.
  • Order materials and monitor supply needs to align with production schedules.
  • Manage offsite warehouse inventory.
  • Investigate and reconcile production variances.
  • Take on additional projects and tasks, as assigned.

Compensation range:  $33.00-$36.00 per hour

Qualifications:

Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Prior leadership experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Strong math skills (fractions, decimals, percentages).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and improve processes.
  • Excellent attendance and reliability.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Forklift/equipment experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to exert up to 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently.
  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying.
  • Work may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, and chemicals.
  • May require use of a respirator.
