Description:

IIE Ambassadors are members of the student staff in the Institute for Inclusion & Equity (IIE).  Ambassadors dedicate 4-9 hours supporting IIE programs and services. 

Responsibilities:

This work includes but is not limited to planning and organizing community building events and projects such as updates on the website, flyers/promotion et cetera.

IIE Ambassador – Examples of planning events, website, & resources

  • Homecoming Café Nia and Alumni events
  • Intercultural Engagement Week
  • DEI Trainings
  • Book Clubs and Special Events

Requirements:

  • Current full-time student at Ursinus College
  • Have a commitment for inclusion and equity at Ursinus 
  • Be organized and responsible 
  • Feel comfortable expressing ideas and working with various groups
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Have a positive and proactive attitude to create an atmosphere of belonging
