As a Supervisor, Web Content, you will:

  • Ensure that every page on our site is discoverable, conversion-friendly, and aligned with best-in-class digital standards.

  • Lead the development, management, and optimization of web content across Scripps Health's digital platforms.

  • Supervise a team of Web Content Specialists, ensuring the creation and maintenance of high-quality, engaging, and informative content that reflects Scripps Health's commitment to excellence in health care.
  • Apply advanced technical SEO and AIO practices, including schema markup, site architecture, crawlability, and page performance optimization.

     

    Lead conversion rate optimization (CRO) testing, from hypothesis design to execution and analysis

  • Partner with design and development teams to enhance UX/UI for clarity, accessibility, and improved user journeys
  • Translate SEO and CRO insights into actionable recommendations that inform both content creation and technical implementation
  • Have a strong background in content strategy, SEO, and team leadership within the healthcare industry.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Health Sciences, or a related field. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in web content management, preferably in the healthcare industry, including supervisory experience. 

    Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: 
  • Strong analytical skills including the understanding of SEO principles and best practices. 
  • Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to inform and guide content strategy, ensuring high engagement and optimization across all web platforms. 
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a focus on health-related content. 
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). 
  • Strong understanding of Google's AI driven search summaries and its impact on content strategy.
