Job Summary

The Human Resource Manager will serve as a hands-on leader, managing all aspects of HR to support our growing team. This role oversees talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, training, and culture initiatives. The HR Manager will work closely with leadership to build a workplace where employees feel supported, valued, and inspired to do their best work. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference.



Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to assess and meet staffing, recruiting, and retention needs.
  • Lead hiring processes to attract and retain top talent. 
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations issues.
  • Manage performance management processes and support leadership development.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, etc.).
  • Monitor HR metrics, analyze trends, and make data-driven recommendations. 
  • Drive employee engagement and recognition programs that strengthen workplace culture.
  • Stay current on HR best practices, laws, and emerging workforce trends.
  • Supervise and support HR staff, including the HR Generalist, ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing, onboarding, offboarding, new hire orientation, benefits & leave administration 

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.  
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR management or generalist experience.  
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations; healthcare or non-profit experience preferred.  
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred.  
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (Paylocity).
