A Brief Overview
The Corporate Development Associate will work on a lean team of professionals responsible for Hunt's corporate M&A strategy and execution as well as contribute to important corporate initiatives such as capital markets transactions, board correspondence, strategic planning, and other special projects. This position will be focused on corporate M&A and will typically not work on direct real estate and infrastructure investments.
What you will do
- Screening for and analyzing potential investments
- Building and maintaining detailed financial models to support M&A transactions
- Preparing investment team and investment committee materials
- Supporting valuation analysis, structuring discussions, and negotiation strategy
- Monitoring existing investments
- Aiding in the monitoring of market/economic trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 1 - 4 years of M&A, investment banking, private equity, transaction services, or strategy consulting Required
- Well-rounded resume with a strong desire to be in Denver, CO Preferred
- Excellent analytical and quantitative capabilities
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and MS Excel
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Familiarity with valuation methodologies, due diligence processes, and transaction mechanics
