SUMMARY:
The Direct Services Supervisor reports to the CCBHC Site Director. This position is responsible for leading and developing SFRC’s CCBHC Direct Services, setting best practices and informing standards of care, facilitating team meetings, planning and providing training for new hires and other team members as needed, and interviewing new Direct Service candidates. In addition, the Direct Services Supervisor works as part of the interdisciplinary team to facilitate and coordinate clients’ continuum of care activities, ensuring optimum utilization of community resources, service delivery, and compliance with external agencies and referral sources requirements. The Direct Services Supervisor facilitates client success and mitigates barriers to accessible treatment.

Requirements
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Direct Services Supervisor’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Supervises CCSS and CPSW employees engaged in discharge planning and other linkage to
care services for clients
• Supervise ongoing efforts from Direct Service staff to stay connected with individuals
throughout their services, ensuring their basic needs are met and necessary documentation is
in place, empowering the person to make progress toward their personal goals.
• Foster a collaborative, continuous treatment network inclusive of friends, family, partners,
and other outside resources to support recovery and access to care services.
• Educate the Direct Services team on evidence-based practices related to behavioral health,
promoting healthy resources, and daily skills training to provide the highest quality trauma
informed person-centered care
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to address day-to-day client concerns, including being
prepared to support clients presenting in crisis situations
• Train the Direct Services team using a transtheoretical approach to ensure clients have
adequate resources to support continuity of care
• Maintain and review case notes and other required documentation according to agency
policies
• Regularly identify and establish partnerships with new employment, housing, medical, and
other community-based resources
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
1. Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse populations; strong interpersonal skills that promote teamwork and build rapport with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
2. Demonstrated awareness and understanding of cultural diversity and the ability to work effectively across various backgrounds.
3. Advanced knowledge of 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, client confidentiality, and behavioral health conditions including serious mental illness and substance use disorders.
4. Proficiency in identifying, accessing, and coordinating with statewide community resources to meet clients’ social, financial, housing, educational, and healthcare needs.
5. Skilled in documenting and reviewing case management notes, managing diverse tasks, and maintaining detailed records with attention to compliance.
6. Proficient with Microsoft Office, EHRs, and standard office equipment.
7. Strong critical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
8. Maintains professional relationships at all levels; demonstrates alignment with SFRC’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
9. Ability to obtain and maintain a State of New Mexico Criminal Records Clearance and possess an unrestricted NM Driver’s License.
Education and Experience:
1. High School/GED required
2. Behavioral health or substance use program experience required
3. Experience with case management or care coordination
4. Supervisory experience one year or more
5. Experience with grants management and compliance required
6. CPSW (Certified Peer Support Worker), or CSW (Community Support Worker), and Comprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS) required
7. Current CPR/First Aid Certification, or ability to become certified within 90 days of hire
