What you will be doing
As our IT support colleague, you will be a member of the SEB New York local IT team, that is part of the IT International organization within the Technology division. IT International has approximately 100 employees in 13 countries, giving you the opportunity for international cross-collaboration. Cross collaboration and interaction with other central SEB teams are the essence of our daily work.
The SEB New York local IT team provides 1st and 2nd line support to SEB New York for workplace services, collaboration tools, infrastructure services, and local applications and systems. SEB New York is a Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) site, and the departments present here include FX Trading, Equities Sales, Corporate Banking, and Treasury. Our office is located in Hudson Yards, Manhattan.
As IT Support you will:
Provide comprehensive support for workplace devices, peripherals, and end-user computing environments.
Administer and support the office’s collaboration platforms and communication tools.
Manage access control, lifecycle management (LCM), and local application/system support.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
Collaborate with Head Office teams on IT infrastructure changes, lifecycle management, and operational support.
Contribute to both global and local IT projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.
Ensure adherence to and alignment with global IT strategies and policies.
Who are we looking for:
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an IT role
Foundational knowledge of Cybersecurity principles and best practices
Familiarity with ITIL processes and Incident Management platforms
Understanding of conventional server room design and operational systems
Foundational knowledge of networking systems and hardware components
Hands-on experience with Windows Server platforms, Microsoft SQL, and Windows OS environments
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
Experience with Trading Telephony solutions and hardware
Experience with Access Management administration
Experience working with IT-related policies and governance
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
Experience working with agile methodologies
Understanding of the financial services sector
Proven ability to navigate and work effectively within large organizations with complex IT environments and integrations
Previous experience in trading desk support and market data platforms
Demonstrated experience in IT project management
Great interpersonal communication skills
Self-driven with ability to learn quickly and embrace change
This role is primarily based in our office with possibility to work from home in alignment with team priorities and business needs.
