This is an on-site position. Monday-Friday (weekends as needed) 2:30pm-11:30pm typical schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate person/machine assignments for maximum output per labor hour while effectively and fully utilizing assets to produce optimal results
• Spend significant time on the production floor
• Ensure compliance with all safety, , regulatory, and quality policies
• Prepare and update production records
• Manage and motivate the team in a manner that is inclusive and respectful and enhances employee engagement 
• Resolve employee issues through effective problem resolution
• Document performance deficiencies and review them with associate to facilitate corrective measures.
• Maintain and develop excellent customer/supplier relationships with all levels of the organization
• Perform additional duties as assigned. 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School Education or equivalent.
• 4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations are a plus
• Previous experience working with hi-lo/forklift equipment
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork abilities
• Strong reasoning and decision-making skills for the production floor

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, you will regularly work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can be high and employee may be required to wear personal protective equipment. This is an indoor food manufacturing setting.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use your hands to control computerized equipment and machinery.
