Summary: The Human Resources Assistant will provide support to the Human Resource department as well as front counter support to the Automotive Peachtree City location.  This is an onsite position only located in Peachtree City, Georgia.  Remote/Hybrid work is not available.  Hours are M-F 8:30am-5:30pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist in the screening of candidates in all United Radio locations including contract employees.
  • Assist in the administration of performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
  • Creation of annual lunch and learn program in the Peachtree City location.  Including schedule, topics covered, presenters, and food.  
  • Maintain a relationship with vendors including clothing, catering and more.
  • Ensure Birthday and other special occasion materials are created and distributed.  
  • Aid with company picnics and other events/programs as needed.
  • Assist in employee and contract employee orientations
  • Coordination and assistance with HR projects/events and promotions.
  • Greet visitors and ensure visitor security protocol is followed regarding sign-in/sign-out logs, issuing visitor badges, and when necessary, issue ESD gear.
  • Answer the main (local) phone line, and transfer calls to employees.
  • Maintain the office supply stockroom to include ordering and stocking supplies as well as backup with shop supplies.
  • Process outgoing mail that requires postage.
  • Distribute inbound mail to the correct individuals/departments.
  • Assist the Marketing team with programs, publications and postings related to HR.
  • Must comply with United Radio's policies and procedures, and quality systems.  
  • Other related duties as requested.

Education and/or experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).   

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including tone of voice.
  • Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite or similar software in relation to data entry, marketing and information gathering
  • Familiar with photo and document editing software like: Photoshop, Canva, other photo editing capabilities.
  • Basic understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Prioritize duties and responsibilities appropriately. 
  • Secondary language preferred.
