Circle of Life is growing, and we have an opening for an HR Generalist to join our corporate office in Shoreview. The HR Generalist will assist the HR Manager and Senior Director of Human Resources with complex and specialized administrative tasks.

Position Duties Include

  • Administer Unemployment Insurance (UI) claims, serving as the primary point of contact for claims processing, documentation, and agency correspondence.
  • Coordinate and manage Workers' Compensation claims, ensuring timely reporting, compliance with regulations, and support for injured employees.
  • Prepare and submit Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) reports in accordance with federal and state guidelines, maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Oversee Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting and compliance, including the preparation and distribution of required documentation and filings.
  • Conduct compensation analysis to support equitable pay practices, internal benchmarking, and market competitiveness.
  • Support various HR projects, including process improvements, audits, system updates, and organizational initiatives.
  • Maintain and update policies and procedures; manage content on the SharePoint site to ensure accessibility and accuracy 
  • Serve as a backup to HR team, providing cross-functional support and ensuring continuity of service during absences or high-demand periods.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants should have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in human resources, office/administrative or related role, excellent verbal communication skills, ability to take initiative, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and associates degree is preferred.
