Job Summary:
As the Inventory and Compliance Specialist – Domestic Content, you will play a critical role in supporting Array’s compliance with U.S. domestic content regulations. You will manage inventory related to domestic content parts, including accurate tracking, documentation, and movement throughout the supply chain. This includes ensuring traceability of U.S. content materials and monitoring their status through the full lifecycle at Midway, including the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process. The Inventory and Compliance Specialist will also be responsible for posting daily transactions, monitoring and reporting on our inventory, conducting monthly inventory analysis, and more.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- This role will be a key central focal point and responsible for managing materials within Domestic Content projects. They will be critical in ensuring traceability accuracy
- Support Procurement by obtaining all supplier Certifications of Origin (COO) for U.S. content material
- Create and maintain an organized and traceable filing system linking COOs to supplier POs and project records
- Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of U.S. content materials to support compliance with federal domestic content regulations
- Follow the flow of U.S content material through production into finished goods (FG) to ensure complete traceability
- Manage stranded inventory resulting from part conversions from non-U.S. to U.S. or vice versa, including identification, and coordination with Finance to address Excess and Obsolescence (E&O) inventory risks
- Ensure ISO and SOX compliance through 100% transactional daily audits as they pertain to Domestic Content including proper documentation consolidation in SAP
- Manage RMA process for returned domestic content materials, ensuring timely processing of proper documentation
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements related to domestic content traceability and inventory control
- Ensure Procedures are updated as needed for processing domestic content requirements
- Provide status updates to Project Management and Procurement on document receipts
- Post daily inventory transactions in SAP (receipts, transfer, adjustments)
- Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts as needed
- Assist inventory team with running daily reports, collecting documentation for shipments that met incoterms, and troubleshooting variances between order and documentation
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in accounting or 2+ years of inventory experience
- 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP ERP Software Experience
- Experience supporting compliance and audit activities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritization and organizational skills
- Ability to work across multiple organizations in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well independently under tight deadlines
